This free event runs from 10am to 2pm at Wallsend Market in The Forum Shopping Centre (NE28 8JN). It’s a great opportunity for locals to come together, meet others, and discover how you can make a real difference. Whether you’re new to the area or have lived here for years, this is your chance to explore inspiring projects, support services, and volunteering opportunities that strengthen our community.
What’s Happening on the Day?
- Meet Local Community Organisations: Connect with the fantastic charities and community groups that strengthen our area. Chat with representatives, ask questions, and learn how you can get involved.
- Pick Up a FREE Kid’s Kindness Craft Pack: Keep the little ones entertained with fun, creative activities that also teach kindness. These craft packs are full of exciting activities that inspire creativity and thoughtfulness.
- Discover Volunteering Opportunities: Volunteering is a great way to give back, meet new people, and build new skills. Explore local opportunities that fit your interests and schedule. Whether you have a few hours a week or want to help out occasionally, there’s something for everyone.
- Get Creative with Crafts or Plant a Seed: Join in with a hands-on activity, such as making a thoughtful card or planting a seed to take home. It’s a fun way to get creative while giving back.
- Enjoy a FREE Cuppa and Biscuit Pack: Who doesn’t love a cuppa and a biscuit? As a thank-you for attending, everyone will receive a free cuppa and biscuit pack to take home – perfect for relaxing after the event.
