North East Energy & Retrofit Advice Service Launched
North Tyneside Council has teamed up with the North East Combined Authority, Energy Saving Trust, and Groundwork to support people to reduce their energy bills and make energy-saving home improvements. Residents can visit www.energyadvicenortheast.co.uk or call 0808 175 9345 to arrange an in-person energy advice visit with no ulterior financial motive. Earlier this year we launched grants for individual resident groups in the North West of the borough to support projects in the area. Time to Talk – On the road!
The Community Foundation is taking its Time to Talk sessions on the road to help the voluntary and community sector learn more about its funding application process. Trustee Training at VODA
Did you know that VODA provides free in-person training courses to new and existing Trustees of organisations based in North Tyneside to help them act as effective members of your Board? The training focuses on the roles and responsibilities of the Trustee and other principles of governance.
