Good Fundraising – new course added to Elements e-learning portal

Good Fundraising: success with grant applications. Enrol free until 31 March 2022. Elements Training Portal Logo. Image of 3 people sat at table. Following the successful launch of Elements training portal for voluntary and community organisations, which saw more than 160 people enrol on the first Good Governance course, we’re delighted to launch our second course – Good Fundraising: Success with grant applications.

We know that fundraising is a priority and key issue for many organisations, and in our collective experience, the most common source of funding for community organisations and small charities is grant-making trusts, and bodies like the National Lottery Community Fund, your local Community Foundation or Council. It’s what people ask us about most often, and it’s something we’ve successfully helped many organisations to build their skills with, and achieve better results.

Good Fundraising has been developed by the three partner organisations – Connected Voice, Northumberland CVA and VODA, bringing together a wide range of skills and experience in supporting voluntary and community organisations across the North East. It’s ideal for those who are new to the role of fundraising but also great for those in need of a refresher. If you’re looking to improve your likelihood of success with grant applications then this is the course for you.

Feedback from the Good Governance training

“Honestly it is such a pleasant learning experience, the way information is presented with high quality sound, quality animation and graphics. It is very appealing and has been a wonderful learning experience. I look forward to more in the future.”

“I like the recap element and the ability to take a quiz, the fact that you can pause the lessons to take a short break then just restart from where you left off, and the ability to move the video backwards to recheck points.”

* Please note: you must complete your course(s) before 31 March to take advantage of the free offer.
