Material Focus – Electricals Recycling Fund

The annual Electricals Recycling Fund is provided and administered by Material Focus, an independent not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to stop electricals from being hoarded and thrown away and ensure they are reused and recycled instead.

The funding is for organisations that are expanding collection and processing services for reuse and recycling, as well as driving awareness of these services among local residents, with the aim of making it easier for everyone to reuse or recycle their unwanted electricals.

The funding will support projects to:

  • Grow/develop existing household collection services for small household electricals.
  • Innovate/test new approaches to collect electricals for reuse and recycling.

Up to £100,000. Charities, Local Authorities, Waste Partnerships, Compliance Schemes and Private Companies. Funding applications are currently open on a rolling basis.
