Tesco Stronger Starts

Tesco is introducing a £5 million grant programme to give children across the UK a stronger start in life.

The grants will help schools and children’s groups provide nutritious food and healthy activities that support young people’s physical health and mental wellbeing, such as breakfast clubs or snacks, and equipment for healthy activities.

Every three months, three local good causes/ projects are selected to be in the blue token customer vote in Tesco stores throughout the UK. Grants will be awarded depending on the number of votes their project receives.

The programme will give priority to projects that provide food security and support to young people. Tesco Stronger Starts Grants is managed by Groundwork across the UK and is working with greenspace scotland to support applicants in Scotland.
